Today I'm feeling very exited because I'm checking several prototypes ready to launch next year, which is the same sensation I used to feel when I was a child opening presents, one of the reasons I love being a designer.

Inside my Head is a small ceramic container produced by Canadian company Imm Living, one of the first companies I designed for just, and now the Inside my Head is been introduced to the UK trough at the V & A Shop.
I'm really happy about it. Designed in Mexico, edited in Canada, available at UK.
And yet another award for the Rocky Collection, the first award was the ICONOS DEL DISEÑO (Design Icons) by Condé Nast's Architectural Digest Magazine as Best Furniture Design, and now, we just won the Sexta Bienal Nacional de Diseño 2011 (Sixth National Design Biennial 2011) the most important design award in Mexico, also in the Furniture Design category - 3rd place!!
Next to Diego Rivera, José Clemente Orozco, Rufino Tamayo and many more great muralist and artists, the Rocky Cantina is now in exhibition for short time at Mexico's most important museum, the Palacio Nacional de Bellas Artes.
My good body Moi Hernandez won the 2nd place with his Tie Chairs. Actually another design studio also won the 2nd place - Masiosare, and they have super cool stuff, so check them out, unfortunately I didn't get any good shoot of their shelf, any way congratulation to all, I feel happy young design studios and designers are making great work in Mexico. LUSASUL's CEO Carmen Zambrano was at the awards also, she won last Biennial as Best Jewelry Design with the Bloody collection, by the way I was wearing the Rock tie clip, I just felt like Don Draper.
